It's easy to think of Las Vegas simply as the place where you visit either win or become separated from your money, and even though the town is built around that, there are lots of cool things to do for those who don't enjoy gambling. Whenever I am in Vegas, I pick the buffets that I am going to indulge in as part of my Las Vegas experience. For example, if one day I want to do some very good and really cheap sport eating, I might start with the $5.95 breakfast buffet at the Palms, showing up at 10:00 or 10:30 thus I can get in on the lunch buffet also for no extra charge. Then, when I lastly get hungry later on in the evening, I'll go somewhere like the Slots-A- Fun that is adjacent to Circus Circus for a giant 99 cent hotdog. And even though we are not discussing gambling in this article, I have to throw in the fact that Slots-A-Fun still has $2.00 craps and $1.00 Blackjack.

Las Vegas also is well-known for the world class entertainment, but some people don't go beyond the big headliners to discover the world of inexpensive but top notch performers and entertainers that abound in Las Vegas. For instance, there is the afternoon Mac King Comedy Show at Harrah's Casino which is guaranteed to delight the kids along with the grown-ups, and is a cut price at 25 dollars. If you love magic by the way, Las Vegas is the town for you.
